My sink faucet drips constantly. I can stop it only if it turn the handle closed very hard, and then it is hard to open. Do I new to

replace my sink?

Answer- if you can stop the drip by turning the faucet harder, it is a compression style cartridge. It can be repaired by replacing the

faucet washer, and or the seat that the washer seals against. I recommend replacing both hot and cold washers and seats at

this time even if only one is leaking, as the other will start soon as well.
